Hi, Mike.
I I'm 24, 6 motnhs post 5 days of Avelox. I have/had similar symptoms.
About the lack of libido/erection - yes, common symptom. For me it kicked in at 2-3 weeks out and remained for like 2 weeks.
The bulging veins:
Yes, had it. Veins got more visible than before. This appeared gradually over time. I also got lots of dilated capillaries on my skin and in my eyes. If you've read the flox report, there's a whole chapter about the vascular damage. The drug basically destroys/harms the tiny blood vessels and some of the veins as well. One of the ways to battle this is to start taking supplements which strenghten the walls of the capillaries and the vascular system as a whole. I started taking GRAPE SEED EXTRACT, BILLBERRY EXTRACT and CITRUS BIOFLAVONOIDS. All these are extremely helpful for vascular conditions. You can do some research. They DID help me a lot.
If you start getting capillaries/veins on your face, you can buy a cream which specially targets these. I started getting dilated capillaries on my nose, cheeks, under eyes and was forced to fight back with a cosmetic cream. It helped a lot.
DRY EYES:
I'm 6 months out and a few days ago I thought this was past for me. BUT I WAS WRONG. I don't know if it's a relapse or not, but 3 days ago my eyes became drier than ever. Now I take 3 grams of Omega 3 and drink 1 gallon of water a day and still have problems with them, so I guess this is unpredictable symptom.

Hello, all. Just dropping by to complain, of course
I should be heading out to a bar with friends tonight to watch the Yankees game. But, nope, I'll be dressed in my pajama pants, watching the game alone from my couch. Similar to most Saturday nights of the last four months.
My head. It's just not getting better, and some days it feels like it is getting worse. Pressure headaches, "waves" of tingling, bouts of dizziness, the feeling that my brain is on overdrive. My whole head feels completely destroyed. I can't focus at work and I can't enjoy anything outside of work. It is always. there.
Dizziness always gets worse after excise (I have been biking). Sometimes it gets worse when I eat or drink ANYTHING. Sometimes it doesn't. For instance, let's say on Monday I'll eat some strawberries and a green smoothie and my head won't get worse. On Wednesday I'll eat the same exact thing (same brand, same everything!) and I'll instantly get worse. I've tried all different kinds of foods, vitamins, protein shakes, etc. There seems to be no method or logic behind it. Sometimes I react, sometimes I don't. It ALWAYS gets worse with caffeine and alcohol, and I am avoiding both.
Tendons and muscles in my legs are still sore, but I just convince myself that I went for a long run or something. The soreness isn't getting in the way of my life, but my headaches most certainly are.
I get the impression that head problems disappear for a lot of people early on...at least that is what it seems like. I guess I'm the exception. I'd really like to hear from some people who had the pressure headaches stick around long term. Bonus points if you can tell me that they completely disappeared after five months or something. Is there anything I can take to expedite the healing process? WILL there be a healing process? I've gathered that vitamin b spray might be good??
